PROMISE FOR TOMORROW
The Capital and Endowment Campaign began in 1998 within the Archdiocese and is now underway in our parish. Several meetings are being scheduled over the next few weeks to provide information to everyone within the parish regarding the details of this program. This fund raising campaign will address urgent capital and endowment needs within our own parish and Archdiocese. Twenty-five percent of all funds raised will remain within the parish for our own needs. This endeavor supports Catholic education, social service ministries, healthcare, and ministerial formation. The funds raised for the Promise for Tomorrow campaign will not be used for any litigation within the Archdiocese; all funds raised will be used solely for the areas and needs identified in the case statement that will be provided to you later this month. Thank you in advance for your generosity and support of this campaign.
BEREAVEMENT MINISTRY
The death of a loved one can be a time of intense sadness and emotional pain. We at St. Patrick Parish wish to reach out in faith to these families with support and hope during this difficult time. If any men or women are interested in participating in our Bereavement & Hope ministry or would like more information, please call Elaine at the Rectory, 508-653-1093.

AN OFFERING OF LETTERS
Bread for the World's 2003 Offering of Letters campaign "Rise to the Challenge: End World Hunger" is underway across the United States. St. Patrick's Peace & Justice Ministry is again sponsoring the annual campaign. The goal of the Offering is to persuade Congress to establish and fully fund a Millennium Challenge Account, (MCA) that focuses on reducing hunger and poverty in the world's poorest countries by focusing on agricultural development, education, health, governance and trade. The MCA will provide support and hope to 800 million people around the world who are trapped in the vise of hunger and poverty. The opportunity to offer a letter of your own will be available after all Masses on the weekend of April 26th and 27th. We will be joining churches across the country in encouraging Congress to work across party lines to help the poorest countries. Stationery and sample letters will be available.

SEAMLESS GARMENT REFLECTIONS
We sometimes think that poverty is only being hungry, naked and homeless. The poverty of being unwanted, unloved and uncared for is the greatest poverty.
