STEWARDSHIP
The crowd in today's Gospel demanded a sign of Jesus and wanted to know what "work" He did to inspire their faith. May our faithful stewardship be a sign to others that we, like the Ephesians in the second reading, have laid aside our former way of life and acquired a "fresh, spiritual way of thinking" in Christ.

Religious Education Upcoming events
The High School Harbor Cruise was a great success! The boat was packed, spirits were high and music was pumping the boat! Lots of laughs but oops, no pictures! Thanks to the Office of Youth Ministry as well as Bill Ventura, Brendan Jackson and Dan D'Innocenzo for making it a great night.
All are invited to the Live 28 Holy contemporary Christian Music Concert to be held in Salem Saturday, August 9th. Tix are free but a donation would help.
Please Register
Families who were involved in the religious education program last year are reminded to send in registration packages including all documents and payment at your earliest convenience. Additional copies of the registration form are available at the rectory.
Families new to the program: in-person registration will take place August 31, Sept. 7 and Sept. 14 after all masses in the Lower Church Hall. Otherwise call the Religious Education office at 508-653-7542 to request a registration form.
If there are any parishioners who have given us pictures of military personnel who would like these returned to them please drop by the Religious Education office in the Rectory. We would also love to hear of those who continue to serve; we are in the process of updating our list of those for whom we continue to pray during their duty. May God bless the dedication of all military personnel.
VOLUNTEERS
I have been praying for your presence in the Religious Education Program. You are a gift to us; we cannot be all that we are called to be without you as a teacher, an aide, a hall monitor, or even just once in a while for some occasional help. Please call me, Melisa Melnyk 508-653-7542.
