Prayer for Pope Benedict XVI

Lord, source of eternal life and truth, give to your shepherd Benedict XVI a spirit of courage and right judgment, a spirit of knowledge and love. By governing with fidelity those entrusted to his care, may he, as successor to the Apostle Peter and Vicar of Christ, build your Church into a sacrament of unity, love and peace for all the world. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

2008 Catholic Appeal Update
Handing on the Light of Christ

Cardinal Seán wishes to thank everyone from St. Patrick Parish who has participated in the 2008 Catholic Appeal. We ask every Catholic family to participate so that we can surpass our goal. Please know that all gifts – of whatever amount – matter. You can pick up information packets with pledge forms in the back of the church to be mailed in. Thank you.

Electronic Offertory

In an effort to make it more convenient for parishioners to financially support Saint Patrick Parish, we now offer you the ability to make your offertory contributions electronically. Rather than placing cash or checks in the collection basket each week, you now have the option to simply have a predetermined monthly amount withdrawn from your checking or savings account that will be automatically deposited into the Parish Offertory. Transactions will be made on the 15th of each month. If you are interested in signing up for electronic offertory payments, or if you would like additional information, please contact Jean Lorrey in the Parish Office at 508-653-1093. Thank you.

Rest in Peace

Let us pray for those who have died, especially

Jennie M. Guerin

May they and all of our faithful departed rest in peace.
