Saint Anthony Novena
June Evening of Prayer

In honor of the Feast of Saint Anthony, the parish will be praying a 9-day Novena to Saint Anthony from Sunday, June 5th through Monday, June 13th.

The Novena will be prayed each day during the daily Mass, and will conclude with a Mass celebrating the Feast of Saint Anthony as our monthly Evening of Prayer on Monday, June 13th at 7:30 p.m.


RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

First Communion Portraits

Portraits ordered from Stephenson Studios are in! They may be picked up in the rectory Monday through Friday 10:00am - 5:00pm. Additional copies including group pictures may be ordered through Stephenson studios. Individual photos taken at the moment of receiving communion will be mailed to the first communicants' homes.

Vacation Bible School

Registration: Kindergarten program is filling up fast, get registrations in early!
Teens: in one week get your community service hours completed for Confirmation, Natick High School, Scouts etc. (and you might have fun while you're at it)
Adult leaders: Set up team, Arts & Crafts, Drama, Snack, Music, Hall Monitors, coordinators, all are needed, call Nancy for more information.

RCIA

The RCIA process is directed toward those who are seeking the Sacrament of Baptism (Catechumens), those who have been Baptized into another Christian Faith and those who have been Baptized Catholic but have not received First Eucharist (Candidates for Full Communion). There is a separate program for Catholics who have been Baptized, received First Eucharist and who are seeking the Sacrament of Confirmation.

St. Vincent DePaul Society Scholarships:

This is the 5th year the St. Vincent De Paul Society has given scholarships to graduating seniors. One of the members, Philip H. Woods, is celebrating his 55th year as a member of St. Vincent DePaul. These scholarships are given in his honor, to celebrate his dedication, commitment and unselfish devotion to the people of his parish and community. These are the qualities we use to determine the students to whom the scholarships are given. We wish all the GRADUATES success in all you do in your personal and professional careers.

Featuring the Music of Woodwork

The Peace and Justice Ministry invites you to the annual Fiesta to benefit San Jose Las Flores. The funds raised will go directly to our sistering program in El Salvador to support women and youth programs in the region as well as completing the pews for the parish. The musical group, WOODWORK, will entertain us with their unique musical style, performing songs of hope and peace. The social Hour starts at 6:30pm and music at 7:30pm. Light refreshments, desserts and beverages will be served. Crafts from El Salvador will be available to purchase. Suggested donation: YOU decide. ALL ARE WELCOME.

St. John's Annual Giant Rummage Sale

Proceeds to benefit families in need. June 23-25 in Parish center at 20 Church Street, Hopkinton. Open at 9:30 am Clothing, furniture, books, toys, white elephant. Special "bag night", Friday, June 24-stuff it full: trash bag $10, grocery bag $2.

Bethany House Hope Chest

The Hope Chest is looking for donations of good used or new items. Treasures include jewelry, antiques, books, china, household items, tools, toys, etc. Proceeds help support Bethany House Ministries. Please contact Sr. Kathleen or Ruth at 508-376-9923 if you can help!

Safety for All

In an effort to make sure our building is a secure place for all during the celebration of Mass, parents please accompany your children when they need to use the rest room. In this way we will all be assured that our youngsters are safe at all times.
