Prayer for Fathers
Dear Lord,
Help all fathers in the task set before them.
As you helped Adam see his wife as his partner,
Help all fathers treasure their wives as partners in life.
As you helped Saint Joseph in the virtue of obedience,
Help all fathers obey your will.
As you helped Jesse raise his son David to holiness,
Help all fathers grow in personal righteousness.
As you helped Abraham, Isaac and Jacob
Grow their families into tribes and nations,
Help all fathers treasure their children
As they are treasured by their heavenly father.
Though all sin and fall short,
Help every father to rise
And be the man of God he is called to be.
Amen.

Stewardship
"Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them and they all drank from it." (Mark 14:23)
Jesus, the perfect steward, gave thanks, just before He gave Himself to us completely for our salvation. He offered us the chance to drink from His cup. In Eucharist we meet Christ personally and, if we listen to Him, we will know what drinking from His cup means for each of us. Often it means giving our time, talent and treasure to do His work on earth.
Rest in Peace
Let us pray for those who have died, especially
Jane Cournoyer, Francis Mulcahy and Marjorie Guerney
May they and all the faithful departed rest in peace.

Peace & Justice Ministry
After much thought, prayer and discussion, the members of St. Patrick's Peace & Justice Ministry have decided to suspend, indefinitely, our formal monthly meetings and related activities.
For the past 20 years we have worked to provide educational information, events and activities that reflect the gospel message of Jesus; we have advocated for the poor, promoted nonviolence and the social justice message of our faith.
We are grateful to the members of the St. Vincent DePaul Society who have agreed to continue one of our activities: delivering the food that parish members have donated for our local pantries. We are also grateful to all of those who supported our work with their attention and attendance, and with their generosity. Peace be with every one of you.

Prayer for the Body and Blood
Dear Lord Jesus,
Your death upon the cross
Was a supreme act of love for us.
Through it, you gained our entrance to Heaven,
And saved us from our sins.
On the cross, your body was broken
And your blood was poured out for our salvation.
Grant that we may be ever joyful,
When we participate in this same sacrifice
At the Eucharist of every mass,
Which is presented again with neither pain nor death.
Grant that every time we take
Your real body and blood into ourselves,
We will be nourished, purified,
And unified in you.
Amen.
Safety for All
In an effort to make sure our building is a secure place for all during the celebration of Mass, parents please accompany your children when they need to use the rest room. In this way we will all be assured that our youngsters are safe at all times.
